Lorraine offers the opportunity to work with a professional artist in her studio, where you’ll learn to paint in oil or acrylics in a friendly atmosphere.
Learn to paint with acrylics or oils in a relaxing home studio environment. The class will focus on the fundamentals of color mixing, basic brush techniques, paint handling and application. You will learn techniques in painting light and shadows to create volume and depth, work on your composition, learn to develop style and special effects.
Work from personal subject matter as you explore your own creativity. You will be surprised what you learn with guidance, individual attention and constructive, positive feedback.
Art Class Schedule
Classes meet once a week in Southbury, Connecticut. Classes are offered Wednesday mornings from 9am to 12pm.
