Learn successful painting techniques, materials, their application, composition, color theory and the effects of light for all levels.
Class will include demonstrations & critiques.
Course Objectives:
To understand and develop skills of constructing a painting technically and aesthetically.
To develop visual perception using basic concepts of space, color, surface, form and content.
To understand the physical properties of the painting medium.
To develop a sense of visual composition.
To develop an ability to verbalize ideas and judgments of the work.

Brushes: (flats, angled, or brights small, medium, large)
Palette paper pad, and I recommend a Masterson or Handi Palette for acrylics, worth every penny
cup for cleaning brushes
Paper towels (Bounty does not leave lint)
men’s shirt or smock
